i never really talk about my parents divorce with anyone, and i used to think it was because i didn’t want to, but now i realize it’s just because no one ever really brought it up. and it’s not like it’s a touchy subject or anything, it’s been almost 9 years. but i don’t blame people for not talking about it, none of my friends can really relate, because their parents are together. i just didn’t realize how good it felt to actually talk about it, and the reasons for it and whatnot, and to have someone interested in knowing about it and being able to relate. i liked hearing about how it’s different for them, and how their parents get along compared to mine. i don’t know, it’s always nice when i can relate to someone on any subject, but this one in particular was really great.
